The revised format for F1 sprint weekends is as follows:

- Saturday: Sprint race, with the top three finishers earning extra points.
- Sunday: Traditional grand prix race, with the grid set by the results of the sprint race.
The sprint race distance will remain unchanged at 100km, with the top three finishers awarded points on a 10-8-6 scale.
